Amazing WWII Photos
For WWII buffs only (perhaps).
This is an incredible use of technology---like traveling back in time!
Left click and hold on each photo, and then drag your mouse gently from left
to right or your finger if using a touchscreen on the original photograph
and it will be become a photo of the exact same location and view today.
Drag it back to the left and you are back in 1944!
Scroll down for more of the same. Quite fascinating.

Inside the Inertnational Space Station
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman takes us from the very back of the International Space Station to the front at 18,000 M.P.H. Reid traveled almost 450 miles around the Earth in the 90 seconds it took him to float about 200 feet from one end to the other.

R.I.P. Larry Himmel - The day he came to our house.
One of the things that makes San Diego
"America's Finest City" is it's people.
And Larry Himmel was one of it's finest.
His wit, great smile, and never ending energy
will always mean something special, to not only the
whole city, but to Deinna and I personally.
We'll never forget the day we met him.
In the early months of 2012, Deinna and I had just completed
remodeling our patio. Just in time to enter that years "This
Old House" magazine's Outdoor Project contest. They gave us a Moxie award.
We were just happy to get our project's picture in the leading
remodeling magazine, which helped make our labor worthwhile.
Little did we know, the best was soon to come. The magazines news release
got the attention of Larry at our local CBS station, channel eight!
He was coming to do a story about US!
How great could this be, the best loved TV personality in
San Diego was going to be here, in person, to film
a piece for his "Larry Himmel's Neighborhood".
Here is a link to Larrys' Visit:
As his videographer set up his close up, Larry happily chatted with us.
His easy manner and warm personality was revealed to be,
"what you see, is what you get." And more than that,
he was truly a nice person. He had the unique ability to
meet someone for the first time and make them feel so comfortable, so
completely relaxed, that they felt like they were old friends.
This quality was apparent time and time again
with every story he ever did for his neighbohood.
Rest in Peace, Larry.

Kitchen Window seat Part 1
More work progress on the kitchen upgrade. This the back rest of the window seat. Deinna ordered fabric for the cushion and we had it made by a local store. We wanted a back rest or more important, some thing to prevent anybody from leaning back on the window. This is part one of the construction. More to follow. If you like this video and wish to see more of the things we make. Please subscribe to our channel, leave a comment and give us a thumbs up. Thanks

Chris Schwarz Cincinnati radio interview
Cincinnati’s Lost Art Press describes itself like this: “Lost Art Press has no employees, no customer service department and no corporate headquarters. We are just two woodworkers with laptops who run this publishing company from our homes.” Lee Hay talks with one of the two woodworkers, Christopher Schwarz, about this unique artistic venture.

James Hubell House
Father's Day June 15 2014, 11 am to 4 pm is the tour date for the Ilan-Lael "the place" Foundation.
The home of James and Anne Hubell was built over the last 50 years.
Located on 40 acres near Santa Ysabel CA. It is comprised of many individual buildings all unique to themselves, but created with the common theme of handiwork and design.
one cannot help to be amazing and entertained at the turn of ever corner.
We toured in 2013.
Ilan-Lael "the place", you must see to believe.
Here's a link to the site:
Enjoy!
